JRRF Drydocking and Repair of the PF205 Patrol Boat

Background
The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Maritime Administration (MARAD), is seeking to perform dry docking and repair services for the PF205 Patrol Boat at the James River Reserve Fleet (JRRF) located in Ft. Eustis, Virginia.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational readiness and maintenance of the patrol boat as part of MARAD's mission to manage and maintain the nation's maritime assets.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Perform dry docking of the PF205 Patrol Boat, ensuring all necessary preparations are made prior to docking.
2. Conduct comprehensive repairs as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW), which includes but is not limited to hull repairs, mechanical systems maintenance, and any necessary upgrades or modifications to meet current standards.
3. Ensure that all work complies with applicable regulations and standards set forth by MARAD and other relevant authorities.
4. Provide documentation of all repairs and maintenance performed, including before-and-after assessments and compliance certifications.

Place of Performance
The work will be conducted at a contractor facility located in the Hampton Roads area, which includes the James River, all branches of the Elizabeth River, York River, Mobjack Bay, and their tributaries.
