Description

Based on the initial market research conducted by the requirements owner, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) was the only provider for the needed items. Taking this into consideration, the Contract Specialist (CS) reached out to SAIC to inquire about re-sellers for their proprietary software packages and was informed that SAIC does not allow resellers access to their products and the items can only be purchased through the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), SAIC. Following this market research, the CS proceeded with publishing an Intent to Sole Source Notice on 21 July 2021, on SAM. Beta In Accordance With FAR 5.101(a)(1), with a closing date of 30 July 2021, for which no valid responses were received.
