Background
The Joint Personal Property Shipping Office Mid-Atlantic (JPPSOMA) is responsible for managing the packing, containerization, and delivery of personal property shipments for Department of Defense members across various military branches including the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.

Work Details
The contractor will provide services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), which includes:
1. Conducting pre-move surveys to determine the nature of personal property offered for shipment.
2. Weighing shipments accurately and submitting weight tickets reflecting gross, tare, and net weights.
3. Ensuring availability for order receipt between specified hours and managing pickup/delivery schedules accordingly.
4. Preparing, packing, loading, and containerizing personal property to withstand normal movement without damage.
5. Reporting all contractor manpower required for performance through a secure Army data collection site.
6. Complying with applicable regulations such as the Defense Transportation Regulation.
