The purpose of Amendment 1 is to extend the due date for JMPR proposals and to address questions provided by potential offerors.

The objective for JMPR is to research, design, test, and transition advanced technology in precise timing, frequency, position, velocity, and attitude on military platforms to demonstrate enhanced coherent sensing (ISR, bistatic-SAR, etc.) and electronic effects (collaborative Electronic Warfare). Additionally, it is an objective of this effort to design these systems to provide situational awareness to the user on the performance and threat environment in which they are operating. The inclusion or extension of open standards for these systems to ease integration and future upgrades is also of interest.
