Description

The JECC Emergency Power Station Preventative Maintenance Services is to acquire quarterly and annual preventative maintenance service and inspection on Caterpillar (CAT) emergency power generation system, one Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS) unit, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), and switchgear/circuit breakers. These systems are managed by JECC and are located at building X-132 on NAVSTA at Norfolk, VA.

1. CAT Engine/Generator, Model Number 3412 (800 Kilowatt) serial number 9EP02081

2. ATS, Automatic Switch Company (ASCO) 7000 (Series ATS) serial number 191016

Background
The JECC Emergency Power Station Preventative Maintenance Services is to acquire quarterly and annual preventative maintenance service and inspection on Caterpillar (CAT) emergency power generation system, one Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS) unit, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), and switchgear/circuit breakers. These systems are managed by JECC and are located at building X-132 on NAVSTA at Norfolk, VA.

Work Details
The specific equipment to be serviced under this contract includes: 1. CAT Engine/Generator, Model Number 3412 (800 Kilowatt) serial number 9EP02081; 2. The services are limited to a sole source (brand name) due to the systems being Caterpillar proprietary with Carter Machinery Company, Incorporated as the only authorized maintenance provider in the Hampton Roads, Norfolk, VA area to service these systems.
