John C. Stennis Space Center (SSC) Liquid Nitrogen Air Separation Unit (LNASU)   2

This contract action was awarded on a sole-source basis and was not competed. As stated in pre-solicitation notice 80SSC026R0003, the Government determined that Nikkiso Cosmodyne is the only responsible source capable of providing the required modular, skid-mounted cryogenic air separation unit (ASU), specifically the PINE 8 system, and associated equipment and services necessary to support the production of high-purity liquid nitrogen at the John C. Stennis Space Center High Pressure Gas Facility. The contract was awarded on June 16, 2026, with an effective date of June 17, 2026.

The contract is a firm-fixed-price contract for the delivery of a fully functional Nikkiso Cosmodyne PINE 8 Liquid Nitrogen Production Plant, including all necessary components, selected optional equipment, and services required for integration, operability, and maintainability.
