Background
The U.S. Mission to the United Nations, specifically the Office of Acquisitions Management, is issuing a contract modification under IDIQ contract #19RP3821D0014 to provide healthcare coverage at the Overseas Post in Manila.

The modification aims to address an increase in the number of employees and dependents requiring coverage due to various factors including new hires and changes in family status.

Work Details
This contract modification (P00007) will increase the number of employees covered from 1,130 to 1,550 and dependents from 1,795 to 2,250 for the remaining period of option year 2 and for options years 3 and 4.

The increase is necessitated by:
- A rise in domestic partners and children as per previous contract modifications.
- An expansion of office positions leading to new hires, resulting in a 16% increase in estimated employees due to authorized positions at post.

The modification is intended to take effect in Q4 of option year 2 (October 6 - December 31, 2024) through the Fourth Option Year. The total contract amount will increase by PHP 108,674,405.00 ($1,931,148.30), raising the total from PHP 703,386,970.00 ($12,499,213.14) to PHP 812,061,375.00 ($14,430,361.44).

Period of Performance
The contract modification is set to take effect in the last quarter of the Second Option Year (October 6 - December 31, 2024) and will continue through the Fourth Option Year.
