Job Order Contract (JOC) IDIQ at NBAF, Manhattan, KS   3

Background
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) in Manhattan, KS, requires a single award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ) Job Order Contract (JOC) for construction projects.

The goal of this contract is to facilitate repair, maintenance, and alteration of all facilities located within the NBAF footprint.

Work Details
The contract encompasses a variety of construction tasks including: framing, sheet rocking, painting, flooring, excavating, site grading, window glazing, concrete work, metal building erection and repairs, routine electrical work, plumbing, roofing, landscaping, HVAC work, and operations related to general research laboratories.

The work will be issued through individual Task Orders based on a Statement of Work (SOW) or Performance Work Statement (PWS). The pricing structure includes coefficients for various working conditions such as normal and other than normal working hours for facilities in containment and out of containment. The contractor must also provide non-pre-priced task coefficients.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from September 16, 2024 through September 15, 2029.

Place of Performance
All construction projects will be performed at the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility located at 1980 Denison Avenue, Manhattan, KS 66502.
