Job Order Contract for Washington Aqueduct   5

Background
The US Army Corps of Engineers is awarding a firm-fixed-price job order contract (JOC) for general construction, repair, renovation, and maintenance task orders to be performed at Washington Aqueduct facilities in the Washington DC metropolitan area. This negotiated acquisition is solicited under full and open competition and will result in a single $25M indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) JOC with a five (5) year ordering period.

Work Details
This effort is in support of facilities and properties under the responsibility of Washington Aqueduct. It includes a broad range of maintenance, repair, and minor general construction work such as sustainment, maintenance, repair, and minor general construction work for WA which may include ancillary SCADA work.
Facilities include pump stations, storage tanks, pressurized water mains, gates and valves, chemical feed systems, office buildings; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; electrical systems, infrastructure such as pavements, roads, parking, drainage systems, utility systems; and force protection.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance (POP) will be for five (5) years with an estimated value of $5M annually for a total estimated cost of $25M. All task orders issued within the POP of the JOC shall remain valid and in effect after the JOC POP has expired.

Place of Performance
Work shall be performed at Washington Aqueduct (WA) water treatment facilities in Washington D.C., Maryland, and northern Virginia.
