JHS/GAS 2026 Venue

Background
The U.S. Air Force Band's mission is to honor those who have served, inspire American citizens to heightened patriotism and service, and positively connect with the global community on behalf of the U.S. Air Force and the United States of America.

This requirement is for the USAF Band's annual Guest Artist and Jazz Heritage concert series, which aims to connect the U.S. Air Force Band with local and global communities through live performances and audio/video recordings.

Work Details
The vendor shall provide a concert hall for multiple performances, rehearsals, and recordings by The United States Air Force Band. The concert hall must have an audience capacity of at least 900 and a stage size of at least 2,500 square feet. It will be located in the National Capital Region, within 15 miles of Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling.

The vendor is responsible for providing ancillary equipment including:
- a 9’ Concert Grand Piano (tuned on performance days)
- a DLP projector with a 12’ x 16’ projector screen or Cyclorama
- stage blacks
- two follow spots
- 60 music stands
- four extra stage lights (hung and focused)
- eight 4’ x 8’ seated risers
- 60 chairs
- a Marley dance floor.

Additionally, the vendor must provide back of house personnel, custodial services, security services, and on-site event parking at no charge.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over several dates in 2026: January 28-29; February 4-5; February 25-26; March 11-12; April 8-9; April 15-16.

Place of Performance
National Capital Region, within 15 miles of Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling.
