Background
The Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (JBNC) is managed by the National Cemetery Administration (NCA), which honors Veterans and their eligible family members by providing final resting places in national shrines.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that the cemetery grounds are maintained to reflect the dignity and respect owed to those interred there, adhering to strict operational standards and measures.

Work Details
The contractor will perform various grounds maintenance services at JBNC, including:
1. Mowing all turf areas to maintain a height within one inch of the recommended mowing height.
2. Trimming around upright headstones and flat markers with a blade edge.
3. Sweeping and removing debris on artificial turf.
4. String trimming in improved areas, including sidewalks, curbs, beds, and fences.
5. Leaf mulching/removal during specified seasons.
6. Flower removal during mowing season.
7. Mowing for Sylvan Springs expansion area as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

All work must be performed with care, reverence, and respect for the remains buried on-site.

Period of Performance
The contract is set for an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity basis starting from the date of award through 365 calendar days with four one-year options extending through July 31, 2030.
