The 673d Contracting Squadron is soliciting for an award for Internet Services for lodging located on Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, JBER, Anchorage, Alaska. Sources Sought was previously advertised under solicitation number FA5000-16-T-0010, JBER Internet Services. (Note: the description contained within this synopsis is a summary of the required services and is not intended to be all-inclusive.)

The proposed contract will provide wired internet services to lodging located on JBER, AK with a complete phase-in of wireless internet capability within 6 months of the date of award in order to allow the awardee the maximum amount of flexibility when providing a wireless internet solution. Service will be provided to 500 estimated rooms. Services shall be performed in accordance with a Performance Work Statement (PWS) incorporating commercial standards and practices, as well as Air Force Instructions, and state and federal regulations.

The performance period for this service will be one (1) year base period from 1 October 2016 through 30 September 2017 and 4 (one-year) option periods from 1 October 2017 through 31 September 2021. The contractor shall provide all personnel and equipment to include upgrade(s), tools, maintenance, repair and or replacement, technical support and any other components necessary for uninterrupted operations of wireless high speed internet service for customer(s) 24 hours a days, 7 days a week.

This acquisition will be full and open competition. A Fixed Price contract is contemplated. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 517110, Wired Telecommunications Carriers.
