Background
The Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) is seeking proposals for the renovation of the JBER Elmendorf Burger King in Alaska. The project aims to update the interior and exterior materials, including brick, stucco, doors, windows, lighting, and drive-thru signage. The existing atrium will be demolished and converted to exterior space. The project also involves replacing interior décor, seating, and finishes in customer areas, as well as modifying mechanical, electrical, and plumbing distribution to support new design elements. It is important to note that the work will be within an active, operating facility and will be phased.

Work Details
The scope of work includes renovating a 3,668 SF Burger King building at JBER Elmendorf in Alaska. This involves modifying existing interior and exterior materials such as brick, stucco, doors, windows, lighting, and drive-thru signage. Additionally, the project includes demolishing the existing atrium and converting it to exterior space. Interior décor, seating, and finishes in customer areas will be replaced. Modifications to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing distribution are required to support new design elements. The roof and parapet will be repaired to accommodate the atrium demolition. It is important to note that the work will be within an active, operating facility and will be phased.
