Japan V-22 Support CLIN   2

Background
This solicitation is for the award of a CLIN against the V-22 COI contract in order to provide logistics and engineering technical support for Japan. The current contract is with the Bell Boeing Joint Project Office.

Work Details
DLA Aviation at Philadelphia is soliciting a proposal to award a firm fixed price acquisition of technical support for Japan V-22 aircraft, to the current COI, SPRPA1-17-D-009U. This support will include the acquisition of logistics and in-service engineering support, as follows – contractor maintenance, aircrew instructors and Contracted Engineering Technical Support (CETS) to support the Japan Ground Self Defense Force (JGSDF) at Camp Kisarazu, Japan. Additionally, the contractor shall perform aircrew support on MV-22 aircraft onboard Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River, North Carolina (NC), and Camp Kisarazu, Japan.
The contractor shall also perform field services, maintenance and training support on Japan MV-22 aircraft and the training system at Camp Kisarazu, Japan. The services (to include travel and materials) provided by the contractor shall be within the skill classifications identified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Performance will be a one-year base and five-year options.

The geographic locations for performance include Camp Kisarazu, Japan; Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River, North Carolina; and Philadelphia, PA.
