Japan AEGIS Support

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for Japan AEGIS Support to Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) 4.0. This is a follow- on requirement for General Services Administration Order 47QFWA22P0002 with Forge Group. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541513 with a Size Standard of $32,500,000.

NSWC PHD intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority FAR 6.302-4. The basis for restricting competition is Forge Group, LLC is requested under a Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA).

The anticipated performance periods will span five (5) years. The first ordering period is anticipated to begin in September 2023. It is anticipated that the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued in December 2022.

Interested companies should submit, on company letterhead, a notice of interest including the name, telephone number, mailing address, and email address of one point of contact. Responses to this notice should not exceed (15) single-sided (Times New Roman, minimum 12 point font) pages. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within 15 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
