The San Bernardino National Forest requires janitorial services at three (3) of its locations. The locations are listed below:

  1. Supervisor's Office : 602 S. Tippecanoe Avenue, San Bernardino, CA 92408
  2. Front Country Ranger Station: 1209 Lytle Creek Road, Lytle Creek, CA 92358
  3. Big Bear Discovery Center & Mountain Top Ranger Station: 40170 Highway 38, Fawnskin, CA 92333.

The NAICS code for this requirement is 561720-Janitorial Services and this is a 100% Total Small Business set-aside.

The period of performance will be for a base year of approximately four (4) months and four (4) twelve-month option years; the estimated dates are as follows:

Base Year: October 1, 2025- December 31, 2025 and four (4) Option Years :

Option Yr 1: Jan 1, 2026-Dec 31, 2026

Option Yr 2: Jan 1, 2027-Dec 31, 2027

Background
The San Bernardino National Forest, part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, requires janitorial services at three locations to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in public access areas and private workspace areas. The goal of this contract is to ensure that these facilities are well-maintained, especially during times of increased visitor activity related to fire and emergency events.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform custodial services consisting of routine and periodic janitorial work at the following locations:

A. Supervisor’s Office: 602 S. Tippecanoe Avenue, San Bernardino, CA 92408
- A three-story facility totaling 54,932 square feet with enclosed offices, cubicle space, four restrooms, three kitchen (breakroom) areas, multiple conference/training rooms, a 24-hour Dispatch center, a visitor center, and a concrete/mechanical basement. Special considerations must be exercised when performing janitorial work in the dispatch center.

B. Front Country Ranger Station: 1209 Lytle Creek Road, Lytle Creek, CA 92358
- A single-story building totaling 5,000 square feet with 12 individual offices, three restrooms, one kitchen (breakroom), one conference room, one mail room, one visiting area, four hallways, and two storage rooms.

C. Big Bear Discovery Center & Mountain Top Ranger Station: 40170 Highway 38, Fawnskin, CA 92333.
- A single-story building totaling 13,500 square feet with two individual offices and 52 cubicle spaces. It includes two entryways and a foyer, four restrooms, drinking fountains, a large conference/education center room, an interpretation area, front desk area, and gift shop.

Janitorial services shall be performed two times per week outside of business hours (Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), with flexibility for earlier start times as negotiated. Additionally, bi-annual cleaning will be performed as specified in the Performance Work Statement.

Period of Performance
The period of performance includes a base year of approximately four months followed by four twelve-month option years. The estimated dates are:
- Base Year: September 15, 2025 - January 14, 2026
- Option Year 1: January 15, 2026 - January 14, 2027
- Option Year 2: January 15, 2027 - January 14, 2028
- Option Year 3: January 15, 2028 - January 14, 2029
- Option Year 4: January 15, 2029 - January 14, 2030
