Background
The contract is issued by the USDA, Animal Plant Health Inspection Service, Veterinary Services at the New York Animal Import Center. The mission of this agency is to protect animal health and ensure the safety of animal products. The goal of this contract is to provide janitorial services for the Administration Building #19 and an adjacent bathroom, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of these facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all areas of Administration Building #19 (approximately 5109 square feet) and one bathroom in adjacent building #1 (64 square feet). Specific tasks include:

- Daily Duties:
1. Clean and scrub floors in various areas including entry hallways, main office, locker rooms, break room, laundry room, lab, AHT office, and coverall room.
2. Clean and disinfect six bathrooms including sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, and counters.
3. Empty waste baskets in designated areas including exterior garbage cans.
4. Clean glass entryway doors.
5. Clean break room surfaces including tables, chairs, microwaves, refrigerator exteriors, counters, small appliances, water fountain, and sink; dust/clean computer stations; sweep/mop floors; vacuum rugs at entrances and locker rooms.
6. Clean main office surfaces including desks and file cabinets; clean water fountain; sweep/mop floors; clean office bathrooms and hallways.
7. Clean back area of building including laundry room and offices; dust/clean surfaces; sweep/mop floors.
8. Clean bathroom in building #1 including garbage disposal and surface cleaning.

- Weekly Duties:
1. Clean glass and doors in entry vestibule area.
2. Disinfect showers.

- Quarterly Duties:
- Dust ceiling vents/baseboards; clean windows including tracks; scrub floors.

Miscellaneous requirements include using Green Certified cleaning products, working Monday through Friday between specified hours (4:30 PM to 12:30 AM), maintaining custodial closets in a neat condition, and complying with biobased product preferences as per federal guidelines.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of five years starting from November 1, 2024 to October 31, 2029.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the USDA Animal Plant Health Inspection Service Veterinary Services located at the New York Animal Import Center, Rock Tavern, New York.
