Janitorial Services Needed at the Bedford, Indiana Hoosier N.F. Office

Background
The US Forest Service, CSA#6 Team, is issuing a total small business set-aside request for janitorial services at the Hoosier National Forest office located in Bedford, Indiana. The agency's mission includes managing national forests and grasslands to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of these resources for the benefit of current and future generations.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that the office facilities are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition.

Work Details
The contractor will perform janitorial services at the Hoosier National Forest Offices located at 811 Constitution Ave., Bedford, IN 47421. The total area to be serviced is approximately 10,965 square feet, with about 8,980 square feet being carpeted and the remainder consisting of bare floor areas.

The contractor is responsible for furnishing all supplies, materials, and equipment necessary for the performance of work under this contract. Services will be provided three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) during business hours from 4:30 p.m. to 12:00 midnight. Annual carpet cleaning will be scheduled after regular cleaning services on Fridays or Saturdays to allow drying time. The contractor must adhere to specified quality standards as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), ensuring that inspections meet or exceed performance expectations.

Period of Performance
The estimated period of performance includes a base year from June 16, 2025, to June 14, 2026, with four option years extending through June 14, 2030.
