Background
The Pentagon is the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense (DOD) and houses approximately 26,000 military and civilian employees and 3,000 non-defense contract personnel. The custodial requirements are performed by three separate contracts, including this Small Business contract.

Work Details
The contract involves providing high-quality, timely, proactive, and responsive custodial services to various locations within the Pentagon, including the second floor, heating & refrigeration plant, emergency response center, incinerator plant, force protection agency building, ancillary support facility, and selected support trailers. The services include carpet shampooing, exterior hard surfaces policing, recycling & waste management program, miscellaneous services, continuous quality control, repetitive common area services, interior custodial services, special events support, and COVID19 response services.

Period of Performance
The contract is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Performance Work Statement (PWS) with a twelve-month base period and four additional twelve-month option periods.

Place of Performance
The custodial services will be performed at various locations within the Pentagon building.
