Solicitation 36C25623R0007 for janitorial services at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center located in Houston, TX is amended to provide additional clarifications.

This amendment does not result in any changes to the solicitation or any attachments thereto.

The closing date and time, as indicated in block 8 of the Standard Form 1449 will NOT be extended as a result of this amendment.

Solicitation 36C25623R0007 for janitorial services at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center located in Houston, TX is amended to answer questions submitted in response to the solicitation, provide floor plans, and update the Performance Work Statement.

This amendment includes a list of questions submitted, with answers, and facility floor plans to assist in understanding the requirements. These floor plans may NOT become part of the resultant contract award.

The closing date and time, as indicated in block 8 of the Standard Form 1449 will NOT be extended as a result of this amendment.

SOLICITATION

The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) has a requirement for janitorial services at building 100 of its facility located at 2002 Holcombe Blvd. in Houston, TX.

This is a 100% Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside under NAICS code 561720, with a small business size standard of $19,500,000. All offerors must be listed in the VA's Vendor Information Pages (VIP) at https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/ as of the date of their proposal and be listed in VIP and registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov, as of the date of award. Award will NOT be delayed for registration.

Interested parties must submit all questions concerning the solicitation, in writing, via email to james.hunt2@va.gov, to be received no later than 4:30pm CT, Tuesday, December 6, 2022. Questions submitted after this date/time may not be answered.

SITE VISIT: Potential offerors are urged to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim or any price adjustment after contract award. An organized site visit will be conducted at 1:00pm (local time) on Thursday, December 1, 2022. This will be the only time allotted for a site visit.
