Janitorial Services for Black Warrior Work Center, Bankhead National Forest

Background
The USDA Forest Service is issuing this solicitation for janitorial services at the Black Warrior Work Center located in the Bankhead National Forest. The mission of the USDA Forest Service is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of the Nation's forests and grasslands to meet the needs of present and future generations. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the facilities are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, which is essential for the health and safety of employees and visitors.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all management, labor, personnel, materials, cleaning supplies, and equipment necessary to provide housekeeping services. The cleaning tasks will be performed according to provided frequency tables and must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, instructions, and commercial practices. Specific tasks include:

- Sweeping and mopping floors;
- Emptying trash receptacles;
- Cleaning restrooms (including showers);
- Replenishing supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, soap);
- Cleaning break areas and hallways;
- Cleaning drinking fountains;
- Washing windows; and
- Removing bugs from overhead lighting.

Services are required once a week from Friday through Sunday.

Period of Performance
Base Period: 12/18/2024 - 12/17/2025; Option Year 1: 12/18/2025 - 12/17/2026; Option Year 2: 12/18/2026 - 12/17/2027; Option Year 3: 12/18/2027 - 12/17/2028; Option Year 4: 12/18/2028 - 12/17/2029.
