Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Metropolitan Detention Center located at Brooklyn ,NY is requesting a quote to perform cleaning services of Dayton Manor located at 9325 Ft. Hamilton Parkway, in Brooklyn, NY. It is the intent of this solicitation to obtain a contractor to provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals to perform cleaning services. Dayton Manor is comprised of four apartment buildings with eight floors in each building. The contractor is required to strip and wax all areas before November 10th and again before June 14th, 2024. On a quarterly basis the contractor is to mop and buff all hallways and common areas. The awarded contractor is responsible to provide all equipment and labor to strip all hallways and common areas Vinyl Composition Tile (VTC) flooring/concrete. Apply two coats of high traffic, high gloss wax to all hallways, common and elevator areas. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PLACE OF PERFORMANCE The location hereinafter referred as "Dayton Manor" shall refer to performance at: 9325 Ft. Hamilton Parkway, in Brooklyn, NY. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EVALUATION FACTORS Evaluation factors are past performance and lowest price. Best value determination method will be used to make awards. The government will award to the responsible contractor whose quote is conforming to the solicitation -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SITE VISIT: Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Contractors are not required to attend the site visit but are recommended to do so. If sending your quote by email be sure to specify the RFQ number in the subject portion of the email. All vendors must complete and comply with the following: 1. Complete and submit the contractor's information sheet. 2. Submit their quote. 3. Review the Statement of Work (SOW) Document. 4. Be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Review and comply with the attached Service Contract Act WD #2015-4187 for appropriate wage determinations. "The Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, apply to contractors and subcontractors performing on federally funded or assisted contracts in excess of $2,000 for the construction, alteration, or repair (including painting and decorating) of public buildings or public works. Davis-Bacon Act and Related Act contractors and subcontractors must pay their laborers and mechanics employed under the contract no less than the locally prevailing wages and fringe benefits for corresponding work on similar projects in the area. The Davis-Bacon Act directs the Department of Labor to determine such locally prevailing wage rates. The Davis-Bacon Act applies to contractors and subcontractors performing work on federal or District of Columbia contracts."
