Janitorial Services, Avery Office and Engine Bay

Background
The USDA Forest Service (USFS) is a federal agency under the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) responsible for managing national forests and grasslands. The agency's mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of these lands to meet present and future generations' needs. This contract aims to provide janitorial services for two federally controlled buildings located at 34 Hoyt Drive, Avery, ID 83802, approximately forty miles outside of St. Maries, ID.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, facilities, supervision, management, and transportation necessary to fulfill the janitorial services requirements as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Specific tasks include:

1. **Contract Management**: Ensure effective adherence to contract requirements by managing personnel and meeting performance standards.

2. **Cleaning Tasks**:
- Daily cleaning and disinfection of fixtures including cabinets, countertops, display cases, door handles, drinking fountains, flush levers, handrails, and locking hardware.
- Janitorial services during peak months (May through September) performed three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) and once a week during off-peak months (October through April).
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all areas of the buildings.

3. **Pre-Work Meeting**: Participate in a meeting within 10 business days of award to discuss project needs and risks.

4. **Deliverables**: Submit site-specific inspection checklists daily and ensure all deliverables are complete and compliant with federal regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a total duration not exceeding five years consisting of one base year and four option years.

Place of Performance
The janitorial services will be performed at two locations: Bldg. #2025 Avery Office and Bldg. #2614 Engine Bay located at 34 Hoyt Drive, Avery, ID 83802.
