Background
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) has a requirement for janitorial services at their Wilmington, North Carolina office location. USDA APHIS anticipates on awarding a five-year, single award, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with one 12 month Base Year and Four 12 month option years. This solicitation is issued as a service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) set-aside. The PSC is S201.

Work Details
Acquire janitorial services for USDA APHIS PPQ office in Wilmington, North Carolina. The purpose of this procurement is to acquire janitorial services for USDA APHIS PPQ office in Wilmington, North Carolina. The cleaning area is 7,020 square feet.

The contract includes tasks such as:
- Cleaning glass on entrance doors and sliding windows
- Dusting all surfaces, furnishings, windows and door sills with clean cloth
- Vacuuming any area rug
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Removing spider webs
- Emptying trash receptacles
- Replacing trash bags if needed
- Cleaning and disinfecting tables, sinks, top of trash receptacles and countertops in the break room, restrooms and scientific support room.
Additionally, the vendor must provide all necessary cleaning supplies (disinfectant, cleanser, furniture polish, floor cleaner, glass cleaner, mops, floor buffer & pads, brooms, dusters and cloths), equipment (mop buckets, vacuum cleaners), other supplies, labor, and supervision required to perform services stated in the statement of work for the cleanliness of the building.

Period of Performance
This is a five-year contract with a 12 month Base Year and Four 12 month Option Years. Base Year: 1/12/2024-1/11/2025; Option Year 1: 1/12/2025-1/11/2026; Option Year 2: 1/12/2026-1/11/2027; Option Year 3: 1/12/2027-1/11/2028; Option Year 4: 1/12/2028-1/11/2029
