Background
The U.S. Embassy in Brussels, Belgium, is seeking proposals for janitorial services to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in its premises, which include the Chief of Mission Residence (CMR), Deputy Chief of Mission Residence (DCR), and various office spaces.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive janitorial services across designated areas including hallways, offices, restrooms, work areas, entrance ways, lobbies, storage areas, elevator cabins, stairways, and parking areas.

- Scheduled maintenance/replacement of urinal disinfection products and air fresheners.
- Cleaning duties performed twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays starting at 8:00 AM.
- Weekly tasks include sweeping and damp mopping kitchen floors, thorough cleaning of kitchen areas with non-abrasive cleaners, dusting all furniture and office equipment, vacuuming rugs and carpets, and removing grease marks from glass doors.
- Bi-weekly dusting of tall furniture and windowsills.
- Periodic spot cleaning of baseboards and walls as needed.

The contractor must supply all necessary materials including paper towels, soap, toilet paper, disinfecting pads, personal hygiene bags, air fresheners, and shredder bags. Additionally, the contractor is required to manage deliveries and installations while adhering to security protocols at the embassy.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on September 1, 2025, with an initial performance period of one year followed by four one-year options for renewal.
