Janitorial Services at Akron-Canton Regional Airport   2

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to solicit quotations to small businesses under a total small business set-aside to perform Janitorial Services for TSA occupied space at the Akron- Canton Regional Airport (CAK) in North Canton, Ohio. The contractor will provide janitorial services seven (7) days a week, three hundred sixty-five days (365) a year for approximately 8,151 square feet of TSA occupied space dedicated to passenger and baggage screening operations.
This acquisition will be a total small business set aside and conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 "Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items". The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561720 "Janitorial Services". TSA intends to award a firm fixed price contract with one (1) base year and four (4) one-year option periods on a competitive basis to one responsive and responsible Quoter. The apparent awardee shall be considered responsible as defined within the meaning of FAR part 9.104-1.
TSA anticipates this notice will be amended with the solicitation the week of July 23, 2018; a MANDATORY site visit will take place at 10:00 a.m. on August 1, 2018 with questions due to TSA on August 2, 2018. Responses to the solicitation are due on or about August 6, 2018. The site visit is mandatory and confirmation of attendance must be expressed by July 30, 2018. When responding, please identify if a subcontractor will be attending as a representative of the potential prime vendor. Please note only one (1) attendee is permitted per company.
In order to respond to the solicitation, prospective quoters must attend the site visit. The anticipated award date for this acquisition is on or before 8/22/2018. Prospective Quoters are hereby notified that future information about this acquisition, including subsequent amendments, will only be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. Prospective Quoters are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website to assure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Prospective Quoters offering a response to this solicitation must ensure that they are registered, active, and current in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database http://www.sam.gov.
