Background
The Embassy of the United States in The Bahamas is seeking to obtain janitorial services for real property owned or managed by the U.S. Government at The U.S. Embassy in Nassau.

The goal of this contract is to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of various designated spaces within the embassy, aligning with the mission of providing a safe and functional environment for embassy operations.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform janitorial services in all designated spaces including, but not limited to, halls, offices, restrooms, work areas, entrance ways, lobbies, storage areas, elevators, and stairways.

The contractor must furnish all necessary managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel to accomplish the work. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing general instructions for the workforce;
- Scheduling routine cleaning requirements efficiently;
- Ensuring security protocols are followed in restricted areas;
- Performing daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping floors;
- Dusting and cleaning furniture;
- Managing temporary additional services for special events;
- Maintaining quality control through a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).

The contractor must also address customer complaints promptly and ensure no more than one complaint per month is received.

Period of Performance
The anticipated performance period is one year from the date of contract award with four optional one-year extensions at the discretion of the government.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at The U.S. Embassy in Nassau, Bahamas.
