Background
The U.S. Tri-Mission in Rome, along with the Consulates in Milan and Florence, and the Consular agency in Genoa, Italy, is seeking janitorial services through this Request for Quotations (RFQ).

The mission of these entities is to maintain a clean and safe environment for their operations, which necessitates professional cleaning services across multiple locations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive janitorial services for real property owned or managed by the U.S. Government at the specified locations. Services include cleaning of halls, offices, restrooms, work areas, entrance ways, lobbies, storage areas, elevators, and stairways. Specific tasks include:
- Daily routine cleaning as per the established schedule.
- Periodic cleaning that minimizes disruption to normal operations.
- Temporary additional services for special events as requested by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
- The contractor must furnish all necessary personnel and ensure they are on-site only for contractual duties. A designated representative will oversee operations and maintain communication with U.S. Government personnel.
- Quality control measures must be implemented including regular inspection visits to ensure compliance with contract standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 12 months from the start date established in the Notice to Proceed, with four optional one-year renewals available.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the U.S. Tri-Mission in Rome and the Consulates in Milan and Florence, as well as the Consular agency in Genoa, Italy.
