Janitorial Service - New Mexico

Background
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is issuing this solicitation to procure janitorial services for the Joint Recovery Office (JRO) located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The mission of FEMA includes providing disaster assistance for emergencies and major disasters under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act.

This contract aims to support FEMA's operations in response to the Hermits Peak and Calf Canyon Fires, ensuring a clean and safe environment for staff and visitors at the JRO.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, personnel, equipment, materials, transportation, permits, and supplies necessary to perform janitorial services as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). The specific tasks include:

A) Daily Duties:
1. Empty trash receptacles.
2. Sweep entrances, lobbies, hallways, and corridors.
3. Spot vacuum carpeting to clean particulate matter and remove floor stains.
4. Clean water fountains.
5. Clean break area counters and tables; restock paper towels including those in microwave ovens in use.
6. Sweep, mop, and sanitize bathrooms; clean all restroom fixtures and replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, and sanitary toilet seat covers.
7. Dispose of all trash removed from receptacles to the dumpster located at the loading dock.
8. Clean glass entry doors to the space entrance, garden center, and emergency exits that have panes of glass.
9. Police sidewalks.

B) Duties Required Three Times Per Week:

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from March 20, 2025 to July 19, 2025 for the base period. There are also option periods extending through March 19, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Joint Recovery Office located at 1712 St. Michaels Dr., Santa Fe, NM 87505.
