Description

Window Replacement for the Sandy Hook James. J Howard Marine Laboratory
Background
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) under the Department of Commerce, is responsible for the stewardship of living marine resources. This contract involves the replacement of windows at the James J. Howard Marine Sciences Laboratory located at 74 Magruder Road, Sandy Hook, NJ. The goal of this project is to enhance energy efficiency, functionality, and aesthetics while ensuring compliance with current building codes and safety regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the removal and replacement of 50 existing commercial-grade windows of varying sizes at the James J. Howard Marine Lab. The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, equipment rentals, materials, manpower, permits, testing, and fees associated with the project. Additionally, the contractor must have a minimum of 3 years verifiable experience in the installation of commercial windows. All dimensions must be verified by the contractor prior to submitting a quote.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within 0 calendar days and complete it within 45 calendar days after receiving award and notice to proceed.
