Jackson Aircraft Weighing Systems Under Axle Weighing System for Boeing 777.

Background
This contract is a sole source requirement for Jackson Aircraft Weighing Systems under the Axle Weighing System for the Boeing 777. The objective is to comply with Boeing Continuing Airworthiness requirements and NASA Procedures, necessitating a means of weighing the NASA Langley Boeing 777 aircraft. The vendor selected for this contract will provide the necessary equipment to meet these specifications.

Work Details
The vendor shall provide an aircraft weighing system that meets or exceeds the following specifications:

a) Capable of weighing a Boeing 777 aircraft up to 480,000 lbs;

b) Use of jacks with load cells that allow for weighing but can also be used to lift an aircraft axle to facilitate other maintenance (e.g., tire change);

c) Powered by 120V AC power and/or standard shop air not to exceed 120 psi. The vendor shall deliver the weighing system to NASA Langley Research Center.

Period of Performance
Delivery of the weighing system no later than July 1, 2026.

Place of Performance
NASA Langley Research Center.
