Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a single vendor to provide preventive maintenance and repair services for seventeen (17) Epredia Cryostar NX50 instruments. This contract aims to ensure the proper functioning of these medical devices across multiple VA healthcare systems, which is essential for the delivery of quality healthcare services to veterans. The contract includes a base year and four option years, emphasizing the importance of ongoing support and maintenance.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform full preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) on the Cryostar NX50 instruments. Services include:
- Providing all necessary labor, materials, travel, tools, equipment, transportation, and parts required for PM, recalls, and repairs.
- Maintaining all equipment in proper operating condition as specified by the manufacturer.
- Accessing Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) parts, manuals, and schematics for service.
- Furnishing OEM parts to ensure compliance with maintenance standards.
- Providing software support and updates for equipment functionality.
- Offering 24/7 toll-free phone support for technical assistance.
- Responding to service calls within 24 hours during normal business hours (Monday to Friday).
- Considering all repair requests as emergencies unless stated otherwise by the Point of Contact (POC).
- Submitting a detailed report of services rendered after each service call.

Period of Performance
Base period from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026; with four option years extending through December 31, 2030.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations including: VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System in Los Angeles, CA; VA Loma Linda Healthcare System in Loma Linda, CA; VA San Diego Healthcare System in San Diego, CA; VA Long Beach Healthcare System in Long Beach, CA; VA Phoenix Healthcare System in Phoenix, AZ; VA Tucson Healthcare System in Tucson, AZ; and VA Albuquerque Healthcare System in Albuquerque, NM.
