Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a maintenance and service agreement for a Bio-Rad Next Generation Chromatography (NGC) system utilized by researchers at the Boise VA Medical Center.

The system is critical for protein purification protocols and requires regular maintenance due to its age and heavy usage. The goal of this contract is to ensure the functionality and reliability of the chromatography system through preventative maintenance and timely repairs.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a comprehensive maintenance and service agreement that includes:
- One annual preventative maintenance visit.
- Unlimited on-site repair visits, which encompass all necessary parts, labor, and travel expenses.
- All replacement parts must be Bio-Rad OEM components, installed by Bio-Rad trained and authorized personnel to maintain existing warranties.
- Services must be conducted during normal business hours of the Boise VA Medical Center, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with prior scheduling required.
- Services will not be performed on federal holidays including New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Base period from July 19, 2026 to July 18, 2027; with four option years extending through July 18, 2031.
