Description

The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 intends to solicit from a single source IAW 13.106(b) to obtain an extended warranty for Xenex UV Disinfection Robots via FSS Contract GS-07F-0587Y for the period of 01/10/2026-12/31/2026. Basic description of the requirement: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Samuel S. Stratton (Albany) VA Medical Center Medical Center in Albany, NY requires an extended warranty for Xenex UV Disinfection Robots. Contractor shall provide authorized preventive maintenance services and repairs on the Pulsed Xenon UV Disinfection System to include the replacement of consumable components of the Company Equipment including bulbs. The xenon bulbs used in the device are specifically manufactured for Xenex solely available from Xenex. All work shall be in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) standards. Because of the unique, proprietary, and comprehensive nature of Xenex s service and warranty plan, it is not possible for this function to be completed by another source other than one trained, authorized and certified by Xenex to perform the maintenance and repairs. All services are to be done as per OEM proprietary instructions. Allowing anyone other than the OEM to provide the required services are not permitted. Place of Performance: Samuel S. However, interested parties may identify their interest, authorization and capability; to work on these specific devices, by January 2, 2026 at 9:00AM Eastern Standard Time (EST). The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE XENEX EXTENDED WARRANTY in the subject line. All documents submitted will not be returned.
