VISN 12 Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Delivery Contract   2

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for the provision of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) delivery services for the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 12. The goal of this contract is to ensure that veterans receive timely and effective delivery, setup, and education on the use of DME, which is critical for their health and well-being.

Work Details
The contractor will manage the delivery, assembly, setup, education, pick-up, equipment triage, inventory coordination, and reporting related to Standard Durable Medical Equipment (DME). Specific tasks include:

1. Unassisted Delivery Services as defined in the Statement of Work section 8.5.1.
2. Assisted Delivery Services as defined in the Statement of Work section 8.5.2.
3. Providing a wide array of DME to veterans as specified in Attachment G.
4. Conducting background checks on all personnel providing services under this contract.
5. Maintaining facilities for storage and management of DME inventory.
6. Implementing a Quality Control Program (QCP) to monitor performance and ensure compliance with contract requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract will be awarded for a five-year period from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2031.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the geographic area of Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 12, which includes multiple medical centers across Wisconsin and Illinois.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate corporate capabilities including adequate equipment and trained personnel to fulfill the requirements outlined in the Statement of Work. They must also submit a Quality Control Plan and Safety Plan detailing their approach to meet contract requirements. Additionally, bidders should provide evidence of relevant experience through a list of at least three current or recent contracts for similar services.
