Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this Request for Quotes (RFQ) for commercial items. The goal of this contract is to provide surgical bone drill preventative maintenance services at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center located in Indianapolis, IN.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a comprehensive service plan for the ConMed Surgical Drills located at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center. The scope of work includes:

1. **Preventive Maintenance:** Annual preventive maintenance must be performed according to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications, utilizing established procedures and checklists. Equipment will be shipped to the contractor for scheduled maintenance, and loaner equipment will be provided during this time.

2. **Emergency Repair Service:** Emergency repairs are covered under this contract, requiring the contractor to furnish and install OEM replacement parts only, performed by factory-trained personnel. A written guarantee that equipment meets manufacturer’s factory tolerance after repairs is required.

3. **Parts Provisioning:** The contractor must supply all necessary parts for maintenance or repair, ensuring compatibility with existing equipment and compliance with current manufacturing guidelines.

4. **Performance Monitoring:** The contractor must submit service reports upon completion of repairs or preventive maintenance, detailing any additional charges that require prior approval from the government representative.

5. **Competency Assurance:** All services must be performed by trained technicians, with documentation of their qualifications provided to the government representative.

Period of Performance
The contract period begins on December 15, 2025, and ends on December 14, 2026, with two option years available for extension.
