Description

System updates may lag policy updates. The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this contract to provide specialized maintenance and repair services for Stryker Operating Room Endoscopy equipment at the Boise VA Medical Center. The Biomedical Department lacks the necessary tools and training for such maintenance, necessitating qualified service to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications. This contract aims to maintain the functionality and reliability of critical medical equipment used in patient care.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide full-service on-site preventative maintenance and repair services on Stryker Operating Room Endoscopy equipment, including but not limited to:
- All labor, certified service technicians, travel, living expenses, maintenance materials, tools, and necessary parts to perform required services according to manufacturer’s service manuals.
- Unlimited repairs of the Stryker Endoscopy Equipment, including labor and parts.
- Replacement equipment if necessary, with Stryker having discretion over repair or replacement decisions.
- Use of loaner equipment during repairs.
- Prioritized repairs over non-contracted customers without additional administrative processes.
- Provision of proprietary software upgrades and a system image DVD for reimaging disk drives prior to return for repair.
- 24-hour replacements and loaners as needed.
- Coverage for mandatory calibrations on insufflators.
- Quality inspection on all repairs in accordance with FDA Quality System Regulations.
- Free shipping to and from Boise VA Medical Center.
- Technical support available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Performance will be monitored through periodic inspections by a government representative.

Period of Performance
Base year from October 23, 2025, to October 22, 2026, with four option years available.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed at the Boise VA Medical Center Operating Room.
