Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17 located in Dallas, TX intends to issue a sole source firm fixed priced contract for Preventative Maintenance for Steris Chamber Cleaning. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper maintenance and cleaning of sterilizers used within the South Texas Health Care Systems (STVHCS) facilities, specifically targeting the Amsco 400 Series units.

This initiative aligns with the agency's mission to provide high-quality health care services to veterans.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide services to conduct chamber cleanings six times a year for seven Amsco 400 Series sterilizers located at Audie Main Hospital and DataPoint in San Antonio, Texas. Responsibilities include:
- Providing all materials, labor, tools, lodging, etc., necessary for the job.
- Calibrating equipment to OEM standards post-cleaning.
- Performing inspections and notifying the Point of Contact (POC) of any defects or repairs needed that are not covered under the contract.
- Furnishing all necessary parts for chamber cleanings and ensuring compatibility with existing equipment.
- Providing qualified personnel who have completed formal training and have at least one year of field experience.
- Ensuring safety precautions are taken during work hours (Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm).
- Submitting a Field Service Report upon completion of work detailing procedures performed.

Period of Performance
The period of performance consists of one 12-month base period from May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026, with the potential for up to four additional 12-month option periods.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at South Texas Health Care Systems facilities located in San Antonio, Texas.
