Background
This contract is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the James J. Peters Veterans Affairs Medical Center located at 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, New York 10468. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper maintenance and functionality of sterile storage cabinets, which are critical for patient safety and compliance with industry standards.

Work Details
The contractor will provide full-service maintenance for 13 Sterile Storage Cabinets, including:
- Annual replacement of HEPA filters and ensuring filter integrity.
- Checking airflow and static pressure to maintain a sterile environment.
- Cleaning cooling air filters annually.
- Replacing humidifier water reservoirs, pumps, hoses, and tubing annually.
- Testing all tubing for leaks and operational integrity.
- Inspecting heater elements and liquid level sensors, cleaning water level controllers, and testing them.
- Checking the operation of DX coolers and cleaning as necessary.
- Verifying current, voltage, temperature, and fan performance for all components.
- Calibrating cabinet pressure controllers as needed.
- Ensuring door seals and latching mechanisms are intact and functional.
- Replacing UVC bulbs annually and cleaning the cabinet post-service while providing a PM service report to the customer. All work must comply with VA and OSHA safety standards.

Base Year: 08/01/2024 - 07/31/2025; Option Year 1: 08/01/2025 - 07/31/2026; Option Year 2: 08/01/2026 - 07/31/2027; Option Year 3: 08/01/2027 - 07/31/2028; Option Year 4: 08/01/2028 - 07/31/2029.
