RTLS Asset Tracking Sustainment Contract New York Harbor (VA-24-00033875)

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to sustain the existing CenTrak and Infor Real Time Location System (RTLS) Asset Tracking software and hardware at the medical centers in Veteran Integrated Service Networks (VISN) 2, specifically at the Manhattan and Brooklyn campuses of the New York Harbor Healthcare System.

The goal of this contract is to ensure workplace efficiency through the continued operation of RTLS, which is essential for locating assets and improving workflow within these facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide support services for the RTLS Asset Tracking (AT) system, including:
- Renewal of brand name CenTrak and Infor proprietary active Radiofrequency identification (RFID) hardware and software support services.
- Software upgrades, server and hardware maintenance, administration, and break/fix services.
- RTLS Help Desk support for hospital users.
- Planning for RTLS expansion to other areas of the hospitals.
- Provisioning and configuring CenTrak proprietary RTLS hardware and software.
- Delivering, provisioning, and configuring the Infor LBI proprietary user interface and associated software.
- Implementing tagging equipment per national tagging standards and commissioning assets into the Infor LBI system or simplified asset tracking user interface software.
- Ensuring proper wireless configuration technology, data collection, and implementation services to configure the site RTLS accurately.
- Collaborating with Infor and CenTrak to complete configuration of software, create approved business rules, update location fields including integration with VA Automated Engineering Management System (AEMS)/Medical Equipment Reporting System (MERS), and ensure WiFi configuration is integrated into Infor.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a twelve-month period with four additional twelve-month option periods.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the medical centers located in Manhattan and Brooklyn within the New York Harbor Healthcare System.
