Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail)
This opportunity appears to have a confirmed incumbent based on prior VA contract 36C24625P1133 awarded to Carl Zeiss Microscopy for $12,301 (06/04/25–06/03/26) under a “ZEISS MAINTENANCE SERVICE PLAN.” The current requirement similarly calls for preventative maintenance and inspection, including hardware/software support and repair services, specifically for the Zeiss Axio Scan Z1, which suggests the prior work is a direct continuation of the same OEM maintenance coverage for the same equipment.
