Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) North Texas Healthcare System (VANTHCS) is seeking full maintenance support for the hardware and software associated with the Philips Xper IM Flex Cardio, Intellibridge Enterprise CV, and Intellispace Cardiovascular equipment owned by the Cardiology service of VANTHCS facilities. The Xper IM is a hemodynamic cardiac monitoring system, while the Intellispace Cardiovascular system is a PACS system allowing easy access to Cardiovascular exams and studies.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide labor, parts, troubleshooting, software maintenance, or additional application support for the mentioned equipment. Services provided should adhere to the original equipment manufacturer specifications. The contract also includes software upgrades and updates, implementation and clinical education for every software upgrade and update, remote software technical support 24 x 7, remote clinical application support M-F 8 x 5 (local time), Philips Remote Services (PRS), onsite software escalation M-F 8 x 5 (local time) next business day, and Philips-purchased hardware support M-F 8 x 5 (local time) next business day. The field service engineers must be licensed or contracted with the original manufacturer to work on the equipment.

Period of Performance
The service contract will be for a base period of one year with an option for four additional years.

Place of Performance
The performance will take place at VA North Texas Health Care System in Dallas, Texas.
