Philips Imaging Equipment preventative maintenance and repair services at the Northport VA Medical Center

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) is issuing a Notice of Intent to Sole Source for preventative maintenance (PM) and repair services of Philips imaging equipment at the Northport VA Medical Center.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that the imaging equipment remains operational and is maintained by the original equipment manufacturer, Philips Healthcare, which is the sole authorized provider of maintenance and support for this equipment.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a full-service agreement that includes: authorized/trained technicians, travel, labor, equipment, tools and materials, OEM parts, repair services, telephone and remote diagnostic support, software updates to hardware and software as required, and preventative maintenance.

The specific equipment covered under this contract includes:
1. Vereos PET/CT with 26-150 kVA UPS & Tube Coverage
2. Ingenuity Core 128 CT with Unlimited Tube Coverage
3. Veradius Unity Mobile C-arm including X-Ray Tube & 1 Flat Detector
4. Veradius 1.2 NEO Mobile C-arm including X-Ray Tube & Flat Detector
5. EPIQ 7G Rad Ultrasound System including Standard & Specialty Transducer Probes
6. EPIQ Elite Diagnostic Ultrasound System with Standard Transducer Probes.
