Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing a notice of intent to enter into sole-source procurement negotiations with Fujifilm Healthcare Americas Corp for the Synapse Cardiovascular Echo Service and Maintenance at the VA Illiana Health Care System located at 1900 E. Main Street, Danville, IL 61832-5100.

This action is based on the determination that it is in the best interest of the agency to award this contract on a sole source basis due to Fujifilm being the sole manufacturer of the Synapse Cardiovascular Echocardiography System, which utilizes proprietary technology.

Work Details
The contractor will provide service and maintenance for the Synapse Cardiovascular Echo system at the VA Illiana Health Care System.
