LEASE and PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE STRYKER EQUIPMENT -Base w/WD   4

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS) requires Stryker Equipment Leased and Preventive Maintenance Service for Endoscopy, Neurosurgery, and Orthopedic Spine procedures. This contract aims to ensure that the necessary equipment is available and maintained for surgical procedures, which are critical for patient care.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, certified technicians, travel, supervision, materials, training, proof of licensing, documentation of required services, and permits to service, repair, and maintain the Stryker Leased Equipment Systems. Specific tasks include:

1. **Preventive Maintenance Inspections and Intervening Service Calls:** The contractor must provide labor, supplies, parts, supervision, and materials required to repair and maintain Stryker Surgical Equipment. A full-time on-call factory-trained technician must be available for repairs and maintenance.

2. **Preventive Maintenance (PM) Services:** This includes annual preventive maintenance according to OEM specifications, unlimited on-site repair services managed by trained technicians, diagnostic checks, loaner equipment provision, and training for VASDHS personnel on equipment use.

3. **Parts Management:** The contractor must furnish replacement parts meeting or exceeding OEM specifications and manage the disposal of replaced parts according to facility policies.

4. **On-Site Specialist Services:** Routine maintenance including inspections and functionality testing of equipment is required along with coordination with facility support teams during installation and maintenance processes.

Period of Performance
The contract period begins on May 1, 2026, and ends on April 30, 2027. There are options to extend the contract for additional periods up to five years in total.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the VA San Diego Healthcare System located at 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92161.
