Intent to Sole to Omincell Inc. Visn Wide Ominicell

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this contract to provide full-service support for the Omnicell Medication Dispensing Systems across the VA Capitol Health Care Network (VISN 05). The goal is to ensure efficient procurement and maintenance of these systems at various VA Medical Centers and their associated Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). Omnicell, Inc. is identified as the sole manufacturer and provider of these products and services in the United States.

Work Details
The contractor will provide unscheduled service, including remote and onsite support, covering parts, time, travel, and labor. Customer replaceable parts are excluded. Services include:

1. Unscheduled Service: Remote and onsite service provided.
2. Preventative Maintenance: Remote and onsite service provided.
3. 24/7 Telephone Consultation and Support: Available at no additional cost.
4. Diagnosis and Issue Resolution: Includes root cause analysis, defined resolution approaches, software configuration adjustments, error corrections, documentation of issues, and technician dispatch if necessary.
5. Software Updates: Regular updates for software and drug databases will be provided.
6. Ongoing Interface Maintenance: Ensured by the contractor.
7. Equipment Verification: Conducted at no additional cost.

Period of Performance
Base Year from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026; Option Year 1 from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027; Option Year 2 from October 1, 2027 to September 30, 2028; Option Year 3 from October 1, 2028 to September 30, 2029; Option Year 4 from October 1, 2029 to September 30, 2030.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations including Baltimore VAMC (MD), Perry Point VAMC (MD), Beckley VAMC (WV), Louis A. Johnson VAMC (WV), Martinsburg VAMC (WV), Washington DC VAMC (DC), and their respective Community Based Outpatient Clinics.
