Special Notice Special Notice Page 4 of 4 Special Notice *= Required Field Special Notice Page 1 of 4 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Guldmann Inc, 14401 McCormick Dr., Suite A Tampa, FL 33626. The base period of performance for contract award will be June 1, 2023 through May 31, 2024, with provision of four (4) option years to be performed at the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System (VASNHCS) in Reno, NV. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified acquisition procedures as implemented in FAR 13, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS Code is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance (SBA Size Standard $34 Million). This requirement is to provide annual preventive maintenance, inspection, and repair, as needed, of one hundred and four (104) 3G Program for GH3/GH3+ Systems. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Service providers must have been engaged in maintaining/servicing the equipment listed for a minimum of 5 years. Interested service providers must provide evidence of appropriate training/certifications for field service representatives providing services for the equipment listed above as they are proprietary to Guldmann. Failure to provide this information will be considered non-responsive and will not be considered a viable source. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award.
