Government-Owned Anesthesia Equipment Preventative Maintenance, Inspection, and Repair Services.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services prepared in accordance with the format Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.202, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued.

Background
The New Mexico Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (NMVAHCS) is seeking to procure preventative maintenance and repair services for Government-Owned Anesthesia Equipment that is directly utilized for patient care. This solicitation is open to all business types and aims to ensure the operational readiness and safety of anesthesia equipment used in medical facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Conducting preventative maintenance inspections, which include complete inspections, vaporizer efficacy testing, and calibration of each unit as per the manufacturer's service manual.

2. Scheduling preventative maintenance inspections with the Program Point of Contact, adhering to manufacturer recommendations.

3. Performing semi-annual preventative maintenance on Carestation 650s and Avance CS2s, and annual maintenance on Carescape Respironics Modules.

4. Providing repair services for Carestation 650s, Avance CS2s, and Carescape Respironics Modules, including all necessary parts, labor, and travel costs. OEM parts must be used for repairs; non-OEM parts are not permitted.

5. Ensuring next-day shipping for any required parts through the contractor’s parts depot and providing prefilled shipping labels to the facility.

6. Responding within four hours to any emergency situations regarding the equipment and providing a replacement or loaner unit if repairs cannot be completed within 48 hours.

7. Delivering a Field Service Report detailing service performed and confirming quality assurance test results after each service visit.

Period of Performance
One base year plus four one-year option periods.
