FY22 VARIAN ARIA SERVICE CONTRACT

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Varian Medical Systems, INC. for Aria and Eclipse Essentials at Durham VA Medical Center, located at 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Varian Medical Systems, INC is the only vendor with authorization to provide these services, and there are no authorized service companies outside of Varian Medical Systems, INC. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified acquisition procedures as implemented in FAR 13.106-3(b)(3)(i), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This will be a firm fixed price contract for a one-year base plus two one-year options. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811219 with a business size standard of $20.5 million. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 12:00PM (EST) November 18, 2021. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to Amarlia Van Buren, Amarlia.vanburen@va.gov. Responses received will be reviewed however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
