Full-service Preventative Maintenance on Siemens Symbia S   2

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a contractor to provide full-service preventative maintenance and repairs on the Siemens Symbia S Gamma Camera located at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the equipment operates as intended by the original manufacturer, maintaining a high level of uptime and contributing to the VA's mission of providing quality healthcare to veterans.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide OEM-trained technicians to perform services including:

1. **Performance and Repairs**: All work must adhere to manufacturer specifications, including adjustments, calibrating, cleaning, lubricating, testing, disassembly, checkout, and replacement of parts necessary for optimal operation. The contractor guarantees 97% uptime for the equipment.

2. **Preventive Maintenance**: Periodic preventive maintenance services must be provided according to OEM intervals (Annual, Semi-Annual, Quarterly), including scheduling visits in advance with the COR to avoid disrupting patient care. A report certifying calibration to OEM standards must be submitted before each period's expiration.

3. **Service Calls**: Unscheduled service at no additional cost during standard business hours; non-emergency service within 48 hours; mission-critical repairs within 24 hours. Technical phone support available weekdays from 7 AM to 7 PM at no extra charge.

4. **Software Updates**: Provision of software updates as they become available at no additional cost.

5. **Help Desk Support**: Emergency telephone support during standard business hours with calls returned within 2 hours.

6. **Modifications**: Necessary modifications due to safety or reliability concerns will be performed at no additional charge.

7. **Parts Provision**: Unique and high mortality replacement parts must be provided as part of OEM-standard service; includes repair services on batteries and handpieces at no additional cost.

Period of Performance
The contract period is set from November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2027.
